This is a one of a kind, original cyanotype print on secondhand paper. This piece is approximately 4x5 inches.
Cyanotypes are solar prints! Each of these prints made with chemicals that react to sunlight, hand painted on to secondhand paper. The light areas were covered, to create a design, using pressed plants. Each and every print is unique, as the materials are arranged by hand each time! The addition of a splash of water or vinegar can create fascinating organic shapes over the silhouetted images.
